Most orders can be completed quickly. However, in a few special
situations (such as needing an inside/ outside corner, or a cover longer
than 96”) we'll work with you by phone, regular mail or email, (whichever you
prefer) to achieve exactly the result you want. Other special situations are
discussed here.
STEP 1: Measure your fin tube / convector / baseboard
Refer to our "How to Measure" page for instructions. Measure the length,
height and depth of your fin tube/ baseboard/ convector. Then, to each
dimension, add 1 inch for clearance. Remember, covers are custom-made
and can't be returned.
STEP 2: Choose the height range for your fin tube /
baseboard / convector cover.
- up to 10 inches high (see blue area on chart below)
- 11 to 16 inches high (see blue area on chart below)
- 17 to 23 inches high (see blue area on chart below)
- 24 to 30 inches high (see blue area on chart below)
- 31 to 36 inches high (see blue area on chart below)
STEP 3: Choose the length range for your fin tube / baseboard /
convector cover using the white area of the chart below.

optional access door on the front of your cover?
To order, indicate the location of the access door you want by including a sketch
on the fin tube covers fax form in the box labeled "Additional Ordering Comments".
Sketch the cover from the "front" view. Tell us where to locate the door,
by indicating the distance from the left end to the center of the door,
and the bottom of the cover to the center of the door.

Our hinged access doors are custom-cut to your cover.
Standard door dimensions are 5" wide and 6" high and cost is $30.
Custom-size access doors are available as well; regardless of size, cost is $60.
Locking access doors are available; add $20 to the standard (or custom) access door cost.
ARSCO fin tube / baseboard / convector covers are typically manufactured from
18 gauge (standard) 16 gauge (medium-duty) and 14 gauge (heavy-duty hot rolled steel,
powder coated in one of six standard colors, or a custom color upon request.
Galvanized steel, stainless steel covers and aluminum are available.
